WE'VE WORKED WITH

Our Story.
COMMUNITY-FOCUSED DATA SYSTEMS BUILT FOR IMPACT, NOT JARGON.
MAP Data Studio helps mission-driven organizations and public health initiative partners to make their data usable, actionable and meaningful. After years in research across academia and industry, Dr. Shenae Samuels saw a persistent disconnect. Data was being generated, analyzed, and published yet organizations doing on-the-ground work often lacked clear systems to translate community-focused data into decisions and compelling impact narratives.
Our work bridges that gap. Through the MAP Framework ™ (Mission. Action. Proof.), we help organizations align their mission with measurement, turn insights into equity-driven action, and communicate proof of impact with confidence.
Dr. Samuels also serves as an Affiliate Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and holds advisory roles for organizations including Watch Our Own and Gilda's Club South Florida.
The MAP Framework.
MISSION → ACTION → PROOF
The MAP Framework is a structured, equity-informed approach that helps organizations move from data collection to confident impact communication. Rather than starting with complex analytics, MAP begins with mission. We clarify what matters, align measurement with leadership decisions, and translate findings into proof that funders, boards, and communities can understand. Watch below to see how Mission, Action, and Proof work together to create usable, decision-driven systems.

FAQs
01
What does a nonprofit program evaluation cost?
Program evaluations typically start at $15,000 depending on scope, timeline, and number of programs being measured.
02
What is a fractional MEL partner?
A fractional MEL (Measurement, Evaluation & Learning) partner is an outsourced team that handles your ongoing evaluation and reporting work on retainer, without the cost of a full-time hire.
03
What's the difference between a program evaluation and an impact report?
An impact report turns data you already have into a funder-ready summary. A program evaluation designs and runs the measurement process itself, from what to track through the final report.
04
How long does a nonprofit program evaluation take?
Most evaluations run several months to a year, depending on the program's size and whether new data collection tools need to be built.
05
Do I need a program evaluation for a grant report?
Many funders require outcome data as part of grant reporting. If your program has never been formally evaluated, a program evaluation builds the framework you'll need for that reporting, and for future grant renewals.
06
What is the MAP Framework?
The MAP Framework (Mission, Action, Proof) is MAP Data Studio's approach to evaluation: starting with what matters to your mission, aligning measurement with real decisions, and turning findings into funder-ready proof.
07
Can a small nonprofit afford program evaluation services?
Yes. MAP Data Studio offers a range of services starting at $500, so organizations can start small and move into a full program evaluation when they're ready.
08
Do you work with foundations as well as nonprofits?
Yes. MAP Data Studio works with nonprofits, foundations, health departments, and hospitals on evaluation, measurement, and grant reporting.
